ECLIPSE LUNAR DEL 16 DE MAYO

 

Distintos observadores de la Liga Iberoamericana de Astronomía (LIADA) observaron el eclipse de Luna del 16 de mayo.

Desde Santa Fe, Marcelo Guarda (Centro de Observadores del Espacio) tomó estas imágenes espectaculares:

La superficie de la Luna aparecía bastante oscura. Con ocular de 26 mm se veían los detalles normales, con el de 15 mm hacer foco se hacía bastante difícil y con el 9 mm era casi imposible. Revisando las notas del Eclipse del 21-1-2019, también con un seeing muy bueno (aunque en verano), tomo nota que lo pude observar con el ocular de 9 mm (mismo telescopio), por lo que parece haber sido más oscuro el de 2022.

The Moon's surface appeared quite dark. With a 26 mm eyepiece normal details were seen, with the 15 mm eyepiece focusing was quite difficult and with the 9 mm it was almost impossible. Reviewing the notes of the Eclipse of 1-21-2019, also with a very good seeing (although in summer), I note that I was able to observe it with the 9 mm eyepiece (same telescope), so it seems that the eclipse of 2022 was darker that the 2019 one.
